Shared learning seminars
During 2006/2007 we carried out work across the Welsh Public Service to look at the progress being made to implement the agenda set out in Making the Connections: Delivering Better Services for Wales.

In October 2007 we presented feedback on the findings to 130 Public Service Leaders at six seminars across Wales.  The seminars acted as an opportunity to discuss the solutions to some of the barriers identified and encouraged the sharing of knowledge and experiences to avoid ‘re-inventing the wheel’.

The output of each seminar summarises the comments, observations and shared learning identified by the delegates, alongside the key messages.

These pages link to the detailed outputs from each of the seminars including the presentation of key findings, attending delegates and links to shared learning case studies, including the examples from the guest speakers.

Over the next month the Wales Audit Office will be distilling the key messages into a format which summarises the output from the seminars and the findings from our work across the Welsh Public Service. We are planning to present this in an easily accessible web based format.

If you have any comments about the seminars and their outputs I would be very pleased to hear from you. Please contact me by email at anthony.snow@wao.gov.uk
