Key messages from the Cwmbran delegates:
- Information and data are valuable resources we need to use better. Effective sharing and use will allow better targeting of resources on common priorities. This will deliver better services in a more cost effective way.
- Delegates felt that setting clear objectives at the start of an initiative and having a well developed framework has helped a number of organisations work together to better. This has generated positive results with specialist commissioning
- Engaging with Elected Members who are ultimately the representatives of the citizens is essential.
- With citizen engagement a key challenge is getting people involved and engaged upfront. This helps to shape a better outcome and avoids complaint about the result once it has been implemented.
|
- The outputs of the seminar have been summarised here. The key messages that the delegates raised will be considered alongside the outputs of the other seminars over the coming month.
