The Wales Audit Office Head Office is in Cathedral Road in Cardiff. A number of area offices across Wales. Wales Audit Office staff also frequently work from Audit Rooms situated in the offices of audited bodies.

By Road:
Take the M4 to the end of the motorway. At the roundabout take the 2nd exit (straight ahead) signposted Carmarthen.

At the next roundabout (Cross Hands) take the 3rd exit (straight ahead), still heading for Carmarthen.

Approach the next roundabout in the right hand lane. There is a bridge approximately a mile before the roundabout. Take the 3rd exit off this roundabout, signposted A40 Llandeilo.

Keep in the left hand lane and you should pass an industrial estate and a Focus Do It All. At the roundabout take the 1st left and get into the right hand lane. you will see a Ford garage on your right as you approach a roundabout.

At this roundabout take the 2nd exit. This will take you past the railway station on your left hand side.

As you approach a set of traffic get into the right lane. In front of you will be a large wall which encircles Carmarthenshire County Council. As you go through the lights, this wall will be on your left. Bear right with the road.

On the left side of the road you will pass a green building. Turn left after this green building and you should see signs for Parking, which will be on your right.

On leaving the Car Park, turn right and walk down King Street. The entrance to our offices are opposite a cafe on the corner of Jackson's Lane.

By Rail:
Turn right out of Carmarthen train station. At the main road turn left and as you approach the traffic lights you will see a large wall in front of you. This wall encircles the Carmarthen County Council building. As you walk past the lights the wall should be on your left. Follow the road round. There will be a building in front of you as you walk up the hill which is in need of plastering.

Turn left at this building onto Queen Street until you see Metro on your right. Opposite Hamilton's wine bar is our entrance.

By road:

From South Wales: Take M4 and exit at J24 onto A449 which joins A40 at Raglan heading towards Monmouth and Ross-on-Wye. At roundabout just before Ross-on-Wye take A49 towards Hereford. Stay on A49 towards Shrewsbury and follow signs for A5 and then A483 heading towards Wrexham. Continue on A483 until you reach a large roundabout signposted for A55. Take the first exit signposted for Conwy and North Wales (A55). Continue on A55 until bypass splits bearing right onto A494 (signposted Queensferry, Manchester M56). Keep in left hand lane to exit left (signposted Buckley) then at roundabout take the 4th exit onto the B5125 (signposted Hawarden). At roundabout take 3rd exit onto the Estate Road passing St David’s Hotel on the right then Redrow office on the right and turn right immediately after Mormon tabernacle into Lakeside Business Village then first right again and continue straight on into car park.

Via motorway: M4, M5 and M6. On M6 take J20 and join M56 towards Chester. Continue to end of M56, ignoring the turn-off to Chester. At the end of M56 (ends at roundabout) take the A5117 and follow the signs for Queensferry and North Wales. After approximately 2 miles, at traffic lights follow A550 to North Wales and then continue onto the A494. Continue forward onto Aston Hill – A494. Exit at J34 (signposted Buckley then Northop Hall/St David’s Park). At first roundabout take 1st exit left (signposted Hawarden) then immediately move into right hand lane and at next roundabout take 3rd exit onto the Estate Road passing St David’s Hotel on the right then Redrow office on the right and turn right immediately after Mormon tabernacle into Lakeside Business Village then first right again and continue straight on into car park.

From M6 and M56: Take M6 to J20 and join M56 towards Chester. Continue to end of M56, ignoring the turn-off to Chester. At the end of M56 (ends at roundabout) take the A5117 and follow the signs for Queensferry and North Wales. After approximately 2 miles, at traffic lights follow A550 to North Wales and then continue onto the A494. Continue forward onto Aston Hill – A494. By rail:
Chester station is a 15 minute taxi journey from the Ewloe office.

By Road: 
Turn off M4 J42, follow road to Swansea 4.5 miles.

At Leisure Centre/Maritime Museum lights turn right onto Princess Way.
Princess House is the first office building on the right, opposite Rendezvous Restaurant.
