A further £35 million of potential savings has also been identified, according to the Auditor General’s report ‘Stocktake of value for money work 2005’.
The document, published in October, was commissioned by the Assembly’s Audit Committee to see whether its work, supported by the Wales Audit Office, is having the best possible impact on the value for money of services delivered by the Welsh Assembly Government and Assembly Sponsored Public Bodies.
