Pembrokeshire County Council procures 'green' electricity and has an approved policy which allows 'green' energy to be secured even if it exceeds the cost of 'brown' energy by up to two per cent. Pembrokeshire County Council feels that this strikes an appropriate balance between being responsible with public money and striving to be 'environmentally friendly' wherever this is feasible
