Grants Management Shared Learning Seminars 2012

The Wales Audit Office recently held Shared Learning Seminars on Grants Management. We have drawn together the sharing and learning from the seminars to share with the wider community and included contact details for delegates to contact each other.

The aims of the seminars were to:

• Raise awareness of the Wales Audit Office's role relating to Improvement. Many are aware of our role relating to governance and assurance: the seminars showed the link between the two; and 

• Address one of the recommendations from the "Grants Management in Wales" report, as good practice in monitoring and evaluation will improve current management and enable learning for future improvements.

The seminars were aimed at the Local Government, Community Voluntary Councils and non-statutory funders.
