The new Auditor General for Wales, Huw Vaughan Thomas, officially took up post on 1 October 2010.
Shortly before his appointment, he was presented with his certificate of Royal Approval by the Assembly's Presiding Officer, Lord Elis-Thomas, at the Senedd.
