The Auditor General has published Annual Improvement reports on Pembrokeshire County Council, Caerphilly County Borough Council and Gwynedd Council over the last week.
These reports are available in full on our website and can be accessed by clicking on the name of each authority above.
During January and February 2012, Annual Improvement Reports will be published for all 28 local authorities, which includes local councils, National Parks and fire and rescue services in Wales. The reports look at how local authorities are planning for improvement and delivering their services.
Drawing on the work of the Wales Audit Office and the relevant Welsh inspectorates, Estyn, the Care and Social Services Inspectorate for Wales (CSSIW), the reports present a picture of improvement over the last year, considering what each authority is trying to achieve and how it is going about it.
The reports also set out the progress each Authority has made since the Auditor General published his last Annual Improvement Report, drawing on the Authority's own self-assessment.
