Auditor General publishes Annual Improvement report on Pembrokeshire Council

26/01/2011

The Auditor General for Wales has today published a new report on Pembrokeshire County Council looking at how well the Council is improving its services.

The Annual Improvement Report has been prepared by the Wales Audit Office (WAO) on behalf of the Auditor General for Wales. It asks if the Council is:

• well managed
• serving people well
• supporting people in need
• helping people to develop
• helping create a safe, prosperous, pleasant place to live, and
• knows what it needs to do to improve

The report focuses on the Council's own priorities for improvement, setting out what the Council needs to do to improve its services. Each year the WAO is set to produce a report looking into what progress the Council has made.

The WAO wants to find out what you think of the services the Council is providing in your area and will be giving you an opportunity to comment in the future.
