Finance Officer (Temporary to Permanent)

We are looking for a person that has knowledge and experience of running a purchase ledger. Experience of cashbook module and cash flow estimates, and performing various other accounting functions such as depreciation and ensuring all monthly account deadlines are met is also desirable. Cover will also need to be provided in other areas of the finance team such as the sales ledger for invoicing our clients and producing project reports.

Salary range: circa £14,960 - £ 19,040 upon appointment plus benefits
(NB: figures are provisional as all salary ranges within WAO are subject to an ongoing review)
Starting salary will be dependent upon the quality of the individual’s previous experience in relation to the specific post and the level of the individual’s skills and knowledge.

Business Services Support Officer

The main responsibility of this role is the efficient and effective management of a suite of meeting rooms within the Wales Audit Office. In particular you would be responsible for operating an electronic booking system and ensuring the rooms are fit for purpose; which would include setting the rooms for the function, arrangement of any IT/video conferencing facilities and booking lunches.

Associate performance audit, location throughout Wales

Employing around 250 people, the Wales Audit Office is responsible for auditing and inspecting over £19 billion of public money. The Wales Audit Office recognises that its Associates play a crucial role in helping it achieve success.

We are currently seeking Associates to join our bank of staff that can assist in the undertaking of work across a wide range of central government, local government, housing, criminal justice system, fire and health and social services sector related audits and inspection.
