A secure electronic upload facility is now available enabling data for NFI to be submitted direct from local computers. This facility is contained within the existing secure NFI web application. It features 128 bit Secure Sockets Layer encryption and enables password protection and consequently provides the same controlled access environment.
Data File Upload is now the only acceptable method to supply NFI data. If any other method of submission is used our policy will be to inform the Director of Finance that data has been put at unnecessary risk.
To take advantage of the data submission facility you need to log in to the NFI secure website (https://www.nfi.gov.uk) and select the Data File Upload option from the homepage.
This will open the ‘NFI data submission wizard’ and provides prompts throughout the process.
