Financial Audit Summer Placement 2010

We are looking for enthusiastic and self-motivated students who have completed their second year of study, including experience of an accountancy module, who are interested in gaining experience of public sector audit, with the potential to contribute to a progressive organisation.

Our Financial Audit team delivers a varied and interesting portfolio of audit work cutting across most of the public bodies in Wales.

Working as a member of the Financial Audit team, led by a qualified auditor, you will:

• undertake detailed audit work on annual financial accounts;
• undertake grant claim audits;
• support auditors undertaking specialist reviews; and
• establish and maintain good working relationships with our audited bodies.
