New opportunities to work with us
In April 2020, the Auditor General for Wales and the Wales Audit Office adopted a new identity as Audit Wales, and we’re now seeking to appoint two new roles: an Executive Director of Audit Services, and an Executive Director of Communications and Change.
The E.D. of Audit Services will lead delivery of Audit Wales’ extensive programme of financial and performance audit, ensuring the operational delivery and quality of audit work. They will develop our work programme, providing strategic direction and leadership, and progress our relationships with senior stakeholders across the Welsh Government, Senedd, public sector, professional groups, UK and international audit agencies, academia, media and other relevant organisations.
The E.D. of Communications and Change will lead the communications, engagement, strategic planning and change functions of Audit Wales. They will provide direction and leadership for our internal and external communications, brand, reputation and engagement, developing our business plans and networks, and act as a key advisor to the Auditor General on all aspects of communication, media, good practice, change and stakeholder relationships.
The successful candidates will be part of a small, united and dynamic executive leadership team. We’re looking for long-term strategic thinkers and great communicators who are visible, dynamic and passionate, and who can lead us to drive and deliver change.
