The Wales Audit Office and the Auditor General for Wales are committed to implementing and maintaining the Welsh Language Standards [opens in new window]. The Standards explain how we use the Welsh language in various situations and the activities and services that we provide to the public, audited bodies, our stakeholders and employees through the medium of Welsh.
Our compliance notices can be found on the Welsh Language Commissioner’s website and at the bottom of this page:
We employ a full-time, permanent Welsh Language Officer, who is responsible for promoting the language within our organisation, ensuring compliance with Welsh Language Standards and reporting on our progress to the Welsh Language Commissioner on an annual basis.
We welcome any comments on our bilingual provision and our approach to the Welsh language. You can contact us by emailing info@audit.wales.
