What the Auditor General said:
Based on the work undertaken, I have concluded that the Welsh Government has taken a range of relevant actions in response to my 2020 recommendations which it mostly accepted.
However, reflecting similar issues to those raised in my previous report, gaps in data, for example on take-up of professional learning opportunities, a lack of evaluation to date and the absence of a clear picture of what constitutes good quality and sufficient supply across the education system, mean it is not clear if all actions have been effective.
